EULA for a _____, creates end-user license agreements (EULA) for everyday objects and services to illustrate the encroachment of legal agreements into every aspect of our existence and comment on social practices.
In 2010, I was invited to stage the project for the Electrofringe, new media festival, in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. A number of EULAs were created for Newcastle including EULAs for automated teller machines, staircases, along with some site specific EULAs recalling the contentious history of Newcastle’s obelisk and one for the festival itself.
